PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate Use
Northfield Road – Emergency Road Closure

Northfield Road will be closed between Ellen Kay Dr to Hopkins Rd for Emergency Replacement of a 48” Drainage Pipe. Work will be done utilizing the Towns Highway Department.

Starting on Monday May 13^th to Tuesday May 14^th work will commence and a portion of the road will be one lane - with traffic control officers to alternate the traffic.

From Wednesday May 15^th to Friday May 17^th the Road will be CLOSED.

Residents between Ellen Kay Dr to Hopkins Rd will have access to their driveways.

Please seek alternate thru routes to avoid this area.

It is anticipated - weather dependent and any unforeseen conditions - that the road will be open to two-way traffic on the evening of Friday May 17th.
