You are invited to attend the second session of the
Watertown Police Department Citizen Police Academy!
The Citizens Police Academy provides an excellent opportunity for citizens, who live in or own a business in the Town of Watertown to become familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Police Department.
Classes are held at the Watertown Police Department for 8 consecutive weeks. On the 8th week there will be a ceremony where members will be given certificates and a group photo will be taken.
Academy Dates: Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 11, Oct 18, Oct. 25, Nov.1 & Nov. 8. Time for each class is 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. * Members must attend at least 6 of the meetings to graduate.

K9 Demonstration

911 Communications/ Meet a Dispatcher
Personal and Home Safety
Identity Theft Prevention / Meet a Detective

Demonstration on how Radar and Laser speed units work
SWAT Presentation / Equipment Display
Ride Along with a Police Officer
