Economic Development Coordinator
Town of Watertown, CT

The Town of Watertown is accepting applications for a Part-Time Economic Development Coordinator.  This is a 19 ¾ hours schedule per week.

Candidates will work under the general direction of the Town Manager.  The responsibilities are to plan, organize, and coordinates economic development and business attraction, expansion, and retention projects; develops and implements programs to simulate commercial and industrial development in town.    

Must have the knowledge of the principles and methods of effective local economic development with related federal, state and local funding. 

Qualifications are a graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and major course work in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economic Development, Marketing or a related field.  Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides a demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position. Must have a valid Connecticut driver’s license or be able to obtain one in sixty (60) days.
