Dog License
- Dog licenses are valid for a one-year span; July 1st through June 30th.
- Licenses can be obtained either by walk-in or by mail-in registration.
- Licenses for the July 1st-June 30th cycle are available for purchase beginning June 1st.
All new licenses require a copy of your dog’s current rabies certificate from a veterinarian. Renewal license notices will indicate whether proof of an updated rabies certificate is required. Licenses for new dogs that were not licensed in a prior year also require a copy of the spay/neuter certificate from the veterinarian if applicable. If licensing via walk-in registration, be sure to bring the required documents and payment with you at the time of application.
If licensing via mail-in registration, be sure to enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope and the required documents and proper payment. We will return any documents of proof that are sent to us via mail.
