General Information
The Purchasing Department is a division within the Town's Finance Department that is responsible for the procurement of goods and services through open competitive bidding and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for all Town Departments.
Our most recent effort is providing each prospective bidder with E-mail notification of bid notices and awards regardless of the commodity.
Please note that all bids are required to be forwarded according to the instructions as stated in the "Bid Notice and Specifications". The Town of Watertown's Purchasing Office will accept e-mailed or faxed bids, however, the town will not accept responsibility for their timely delivery. All e-mailed or faxed bids must have an original hard copy forwarded to and received by the Purchasing Agent no later than 48 hours after the bid opening.
